These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of ourlightnet.org and the programs, courses, events, community, and text-message program offered by LightNet (operated by Wisdom Age Metaverse, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization) (“LightNet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website or programs, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
LightNet is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a project of Wisdom Age Metaverse. We operate a crowdsourced consciousness research data platform and community, where participants log experiments across our Curiosity Labs (such as the Purpose, Consciousness, and Contact labs), explore “Leap Maps” that visualize which methods work, and share resources with researchers worldwide. Alongside the research platform, we also offer educational content, online courses and coaching programs, a member community, live events, and an opt-in SMS text-message program for members and supporters.
You must be at least 18 years old (or have the consent of a parent or guardian) to use our services. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account.
You agree not to use our services for any unlawful, harmful, infringing, or abusive purpose; not to disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; and not to scrape, copy, or redistribute our content except as expressly permitted.
Donations and course purchases are processed through third-party payment providers. Donations to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit are non-refundable. For paid courses and programs:
Self-paced courses and digital products: 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, email team@lightnet.org within 14 days of your purchase for a full refund.
Live or cohort-based programs: a full refund is available if you request it within 7 days of your payment. After 7 days from your payment, refunds are not available, but you may transfer your enrollment to a future cohort, subject to availability.
To request a refund, email team@lightnet.org with your order details. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated informational and inspirational text messages from LightNet. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or donation.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share or sell your mobile opt-in information with third parties.
All content on our website and in our programs — including text, graphics, audio, video, and course materials — is owned by LightNet or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access this content for your own non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.
You retain ownership of content you submit (such as quiz responses or community posts), and you grant us a non-exclusive license to use it to operate and improve our services. You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to share it.
Our content, including material on emotional regulation, the nervous system, and well-being, is provided for educational and informational purposes only and is not medical, psychological, therapeutic, or other professional advice. It is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Always seek the advice of a qualified provider with any questions about your health or well-being. Never disregard professional advice because of something you read or received from LightNet.
Our services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LightNet and its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
You agree to indemnify and hold LightNet harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of our services or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate access to our services at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the revised version here with a new “Last updated” date.
